Can I charge my EV directly from solar panels?
Yes — with a solar-aware charger, your midday PV surplus is diverted into the car automatically. Under Net Billing this is the smartest use of excess solar: a kWh exported earns cents, while a kWh in your car replaces full-price grid charging.
Do I need three-phase power for an EV charger?
No. Single-phase homes support chargers up to 7.4 kW, which fully recharges most EVs overnight. Three-phase supplies allow 11–22 kW charging. We confirm what your supply supports during the site check.
Can you install a charger if I don't have solar?
Yes — a wallbox works independently of solar. That said, pairing the two is where Cyprus driving gets really cheap, and we can quote a combined solar + charger package in one visit.
How long does installation take?
A typical home wallbox is installed and commissioned in half a day, including the dedicated circuit and safety protection. Business installations depend on the number of charging points.
